A resident in the home told ABC 17 News a bag from his garage that held his laptop and cellphone was taken.

After the burglary, another robbery on Teakwood Court ended in an exchange of gunfire.

Neighbors told ABC 17 News one of the two suspects held the resident of the house at gunpoint and demanded the keys to his car.

They said the resident went back inside and fired in self-defense when one of the suspects fired at him.

The two suspects escaped on foot.

Police said they believe all three incidents are related.
