Howard County couple seriously injured in head-on crash

Two Howard County residents suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash Monday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by Bobby G. Finn, 49, of Fayette collided with a car driven by Dillian W. McDonald, 17, of Fayette.

Troopers say both drivers were driving in opposite directions in the center lane of County Road 300 east of County Road 303. The cars traveled around a curve and struck each other head-on.

Finn and his passenger, Nicole L. Taylor, 34, also of Fayette, suffered serious injuries and were flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia.

Troopers say neither Finn nor Taylor were wearing a seat belt.

McDonald was wearing a seat belt and did not suffer any injuries, according to the Highway Patrol.
