Four people fatally shot in St. Louis business

St. Louis police say four people are confirmed dead in a murder-suicide shooting south of downtown.

City police say four adults — two men and two women — were fatally shot at the Cherokee Place Business Incubator on Cherokee Street, according to St. Louis affiliate KTVI.

Police confirmed the shooting was a murder-suicide. At a press conference, officers say those involved were coworkers with a home health care business.

Police Capt. Michael Sack said the victims are in their 40s and 50s but names have not been released.

Officers say an argument inside the business led to the shooting.

Investigators have recovered a semi-automatic handgun, which they believe was the weapon used in the shooting.

Homicide detectives and a crime scene unit are on the scene.

Cherokee Street has been blocked off from Iowa Avenue to Jefferson Avenue.
