Missouri Department of Transportation to repair I-70 this week
The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin repairs to I-70 in Columbia this week, closing lanes of traffic overnight.
MoDOT crews will be patching bridge surfaces over Rangeline Street, Garth Avenue and West Boulevard starting Monday night.
The work will close one lane of both eastbound and westbound traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work is scheduled to be finished Thursday.
Crews performed a temporary fix to the bridges after last week’s heavy rains, but now will use concrete to make the fixes permanent.
MoDOT is asking drivers to use an alternate route or expect delays on the interstate.
