Boonville man killed in motorcycle crash

A Boonville man was killed Saturday evening in a motorcycle crash in Cooper County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 43-year-old Jeffrey M. Roath was traveling eastbound on Route K west of Missouri Route 41 when he entered a curve too fast and lost control of his motorcycle.

Troopers say the motorcycle left the road and hit a ditch. Roath was ejected from the motorcycle.

Roath was pronounced dead at the scene.
