Leaders pick new president at Helias High School in Jefferson City

Officials revealed a new leader on Wednesday at Helias High School in Jefferson City.

The Jefferson City diocese announced Reverend Stephen Jones will become the next president.

Bishop John Gaydos praised Jones’ work with teens and thinks he is the perfect man for the job.

Jones previously worked as director of Jefferson City youth ministries. His new responsibilities will include communication with the public and financial management of the school. He is expected to take over his new job this coming academic year.

The former president of Helias, Reverend Didier Aur, recently resigned to move closer to family.
