Camdenton man dies in house fire

A Camdenton man was found dead inside his burned out home early Sunday morning.

Neighbors on Wilkerson Avenue told ABC 17 News the house went up in flames just before 2 a.m.

They described Danny Grover as a quiet, well-liked man who is survived by a sister.

An ABC 17 News crew at the scene described the home as a total loss, but Camdenton fire crews were not available for comment Sunday afternoon.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was accidental, but couldn’t find the exact cause.

The Lake Sun Leader reported Sunday the State Fire Marshal investigated the blaze. It also reports Grover’s body was found in a bedroom after the fire was put out.
