Tornado rips through Montgomery Co.

A tornado made it’s way across Montgomery county Friday night.

Missouri Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff deputies and area fire fighters followed the tornado’s path as it traveled east just north of I-70.

Storm spotters first confirmed the tornado near Mineola around 6:15.

At 6:22 p.m. customers inside a gas station near Florence report the tornado touched down near Graham Caves State Park. They were taking cover.

It was spotted NE of Montgomery City around 6:30 p.m. followed by Bellflower at 6:36 p.m. and finally in Truxton at 6:53 p.m.

Fire fighters report 5 to 10 minutes of straight line winds and trees down near New Florence.

We have not hear any reports of injuries or deaths at this time.

We have crews on their way to multiple locations in Montgomery county.
