Portions of La Plata city hall collapses
A section of the city hall in one Mid-Missouri town collapsed Wednesday.
The back wall of the historic city hall in La Plata in Macon County collapsed.
Officials say the building is not safe for employees to be in. Structural engineers believe the back wall is falling and it could happen suddenly because of the wet weather.
Right now, town officials are trying to find a building to relocate operations to in order to keep normal business hours going.
