University of Missouri police arrest robbery, assault suspect
A man wanted by police for assaulting a woman at a Columbia hospital was arrested on Friday.
Authorities took Dominque Powell, 22, into custody in Centralia.
MU police first responded to University Hospital for a possible robbery around 11:40 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators say Powell walked into the hospital, demanded money from a female employee and kicked her in the shin before running away.
Officers believe Powell left the area in a vehicle driven by an accomplice.
