Man arrested for statutory sodomy of 5-year-old
A Callaway County man is behind bars after being arrested for statutory sodomy.
Randy W. Woods, 27, of Fulton was arrested Thursday morning on two counts of statutory sodomy relating to the sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl.
Law enforcement says an investigation began after a family member of the victim contacted the Missouri Division of Children’s Services. DCS then alerted the Sheriff’s department of the incident.
The alleged assault occurred at a home on N. Highway VV in Boone County, but Woods was arrested outside of Fulton.
Woods is being held on a $105,000 bond. A judge today ruled that Woods cannot have contact with anyone under the age of 17.
