Jefferson City police release results of youth alcohol enforcement campaign
The Jefferson City Police Department wrote over 300 tickets during its 12-day Youth Alcohol Enforcement Campaign.
The department released its findings Monday morning.
Among the 362 ticket issued, police wrote 50 tickets for seat belt violations, four child restraint tickets, 64 speeding tickets, three driving while intoxicated tickets and four tickets for minors in possession of alcohol.
Police wrote an additional 237 tickets for other various traffic violations.
The campaign was held statewide and coincided with prom and graduation season.
