Man killed in head-on crash in Pulaski County
A Lebanon, Mo. man is dead after a head-on crash in Pulaski County Saturday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 71-year-old Samuel Wood was traveling westbound on Highway AB near Richland when Darriel McDaniels, 41, of Richland hit his car head-on. Troopers said McDaniels was driving in the wrong lane.
Wood was pronounced dead at the scene. McDaniels was transported by helicopter to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.
According to a crash report, Wood was wearing a seat belt but McDaniels was not.
