Crash near Loose Creek sends two to hospital

A car crash injured two mid-Missourians in Osage County Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a car ran off the road just south of Highway 50, near Loose Creek, striking a tree and a fence before becoming airborne and rolling over. Both the driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle.

Holly Elmore, 34, of Linn was flown to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

Elmore’s passenger, Steven Munie, 27, was also taken to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

First responders say neither party was wearing a seat belt.
