Police investigate robbery at Columbia Break Time convenience store

Police are investigating an early Friday morning robbery at the Break Time convenience store on Forum Boulevard in Columbia.

Columbia police say a white male entered the store around 1:35 a.m., pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money.

The suspect was able to flee on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say a K-9 track was unsuccessful and they are not releasing photo or video surveillance.

The suspect is described as a white male, standing 5’4″ tall, approximately 130 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans, dark hat and tennis shoes.
