Three Columbia Public Schools lock down as police chase suspects

Three Columbia Public Schools went on lockdown Thursday as police tracked down suspects.

Two minors were arrested for stealing just blocks aware from Jefferson Junior High School.

Police tracked them and caught up with them near the school.

Officers would not provide specifics because the suspects were underage.

Because of the chase, Jefferson Junior, Hickman High School and Douglass High School all went on lockdown for about five minutes.
