Authorities seize drugs, gun during bust
Two people were arrested after a multi-agency drug investigation in Mexico.
On Tuesday the East Central Drug Task Force assisted the Audrain County Sheriff’s office in searching a home in the 300 block of Maple Street in Mexico.
During the search, officers found meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a semiautomatic pistol.
Officers arrested Tawnya Anderson, 29, of Mexico for drug possession. Michael William Geers III, 30, was also arrested for drug possession.
