Local children’s program needs Easter donations
A program designed to help less fortunate children is in need of donations.
Almeta Crayton has set up a program giving out Easter baskets but still needs eggs, candy and baskets. She is also looking a volunteer who can wear a bunny costume.
The baskets will be given out to children Saturday from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. at St. Luke on Ash Street just off Providence Road near downtown Columbia.
Donations can be dropped off Saturday morning at the church.
