Roth, Mizzou slam South Carolina
The No. 7 Missouri Tiger softball team improved to 18-2, 5-1 SEC this season with a six-inning win over South Carolina Friday night, 10-2.
Chelsea Thomas was backed by Kelsea Roth, who hit a grand-slam home run — her ninth of the season, to tie Nicole Hudson for most on the team — in the first inning.
Mizzou and South Carolina will play a doubleheader Saturday at University Field. The first game starts at 4 p.m.
