Hickman in Midwest Classic

The Hickman Kewpie baseball team improved to 3-1 this season with two wins Friday in the Midwest Classic Tournament.

Hickman knocked off Fort Zumwalt East, 3-1, in its first game of the day at Troy Buchanan High School.

The Kewpies followed that win with a 5-3 come-from-behind win over Francis Howell Central a few hours later.

Hickman moves on in the Championship bracket Saturday, playing Fort Zumwalt West at 11:30 a.m.
