Woman Arrested for Shooting

Jefferson City police arrested a woman for her role in a weekend shooting in the city.Officers say they were dispatched to Club Motivation on Industrial Drive around 2 a.m. Saturday for a shots fired report. Police say four-to-five shots were fired from a person in a car parked near the club, but no one was injured.Once on scene, officers interviewed several people and determined the shots were fired from the driver of a white Buick. The driver and occupants in the car were uncooperative, according to police. During their interviews, police found a handgun in the car, along with ammunition and a firearm bag. Several shell casings were also found near the car.Police arrested 26-year-old Eboni Bifford for unlawful use of a weapon. She is in the Cole County jail awaiting processing and formal charges.
