Student Arrested with Pot

On Sunday, Fulton police investigated an attempted car break-in on Westminster Ave. The officer smelled marijuana coming from the car and after a search, police found around a pound and a half of marijuana in several bags. Michael W. Peters, a student at Westminster College, was arrested for a felony of having more than five grams of marijuana within 2000 feet of a school. Peters was taken to the Callaway County Jail with a $20,000 bond.
