Seven Arrested in Drug Busts

***UPDATE 10:30 P.M.***Charges have been filed against three people after Tuesday’s raid. Richard Pitts was one of the residents in the Twin Bridges trailer park, he faces drug charges.Neighbors in the trailer court told ABC 17 News the scene looked like something out of a war movie, just after 9 a.m.Melissa Faulkner and Walter Carlson were arrested about a mile down Heritage Highway, at their Crim Court home. Court documents state the two told deputies they’d find meth in the bedroom and that they had done meth “last night.” Faulkner and Carlson also face drug charges.All three were in the Cole County jail Tuesday night.As for the pitbulls involved in the Taser incident, deputies told ABC 17 News they were going to be just fine and were in appropriate custody.***ORIGINAL STORY***Authorities arrested seven people on Tuesday in drug busts outside Jefferson City.Cole County deputies, Jefferson City police officers, troopers and members of a task force with the Missouri National Guard served out four search warrants.Three of them were at the Twin Bridges trailer park on Heritage Highway, and another was at 4238 Crim Lane.During the raid, officers used a taser and bean bag rounds after encountering two aggressive pitbulls. They found operations with both marijuana and meth.Officials also turned over a juvenile to the division of family services.
