Officers Seized Guns, Drugs
A drug task force served a search warrant and busted a marijuana growing operation inside a house on the 4800 block of Rice Road in Columbia Friday. Officers from M.U.S.T.A.N.G. (Mid-MIssouri Unified Strike Team and Narcotics Group) seized more than 35 grams of marijuana, mushrooms, hydrocodone, and suspected “Molly,” a type of ecstasy pills, according to a news release Saturday. In addition to the drugs, up to seven thousand dollars were seized as well as several firearms, from handguns to AR-15 assault rifle . Cody A. Crane, 26, was arrested on drug-related charges and later bonded from Boone County Jail on a $39,000 bond.
