Man Breaks into Home

A man allegedly broke into a home but was stopped by the people inside.Police said Jared Merideth was held down until law enforcement got to the Stanford Drive Home just after 11:00 p.m. Friday night.One person was inside the home and asleep at the time, others saw Merideth trying to get in.The residents said they knew Merideth. Police also found marijuana in his car that was parked a block away.
