LSU-Mizzou Game

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The women’s basketball teams from LSU and Missouri will have to wait at least one more day for their first meeting since the 1989-90 season because of a major snow storm in the Midwest.University officials say the game, originally scheduled Thursday night in Columbia, has been postponed until Friday at 1 p.m.A state of emergency has been declared in the Columbia area, where about 10 inches of snow has made travel hazardous Thursday and blocked some roadways near the Mizzou Arena. The postponement means the game won’t be televised regionally as originally scheduled.LSU is looking to win its third straight game following victories last week over then-No. 9 Georgia and unranked Mississippi State.Missouri is looking to snap a three-game losing streak.
