***UPDATE: 10:59 PM****After Mizzou’s 63-60 win over 5th-ranked Florida head coach Frank Haith told media in the post-game press conference that the NCAA has given him a notice of allegations. Haith added, however, that he did not get charged with unethical conduct.***ORIGINAL STORY***Laurence Bowers had 17 points plus 10 rebounds and Missouri erased a 13-point deficit in the second half to rally past No. 5 Florida 63-60 on Tuesday night inside Mizzou Arena. The Tigers — who are perfect at home this season — have won 30 of the 31 games they’ve played at home under Frank Haith. Phil Pressey added 10 assists, seven points, six rebounds and three steals for Missouri (19-7, 8-5 SEC). The Tigers didn’t have Bowers a month ago in a 31-point blowout loss at Florida.Mike Rosario had 14 points for Florida (21-4, 11-2) but missed a 3-point try at the buzzer. The Gators had won 13 of 14 and led 49-36 with 10:51 left, then hurt themselves at the foul line.Florida missed five straight free throws in the second half, three times on the front end of one-and-ones. The Gators made six of 12 foul shots overall, while Missouri was 12 of 15.Florida attempted 33 threes in the game and had two looks from deep late in the game, one with Mizzou up 61-60, and the other coming on the final shot of the game rom the left corner as time expired, but missed both. During the first half of the game, the Associated Press reported that the NCAA issued a notice of allegations to the University of Miami citing a lack of institutional control. During halftime of the ESPN broadcast, Holly Rowe asked Mizzou AD Mike Alden if Haith had been issued any notice of allegations, but Alden said he had not at that moment in time.
