3/19: Active and Cooler Pattern

We are tracking our next storm system that will move in Thursday into early Friday. The system’s forecast track will be across Oklahoma and Arkansas, putting Mid-Missouri on the cold side of the system with the highest snowfall amounts likely near the Ozarks. Currently, 2-5″ of snow will be possible from Sedalia to Rolla. Areas north Jefferson City will likely receive less than 1 inch. This snow will be wet and slushy, mainly sticking to grassy surfaces, but may stick to roadways at times.Any changes to the storm’s forecast path will change the amounts and type of precipitation the area receives.Please check back for more updates.
