2/28: Light Snow Thursday
We’ll continue to have overcast skies with snow chances through early Friday. Thursday will start off with cloudy skies and some snow flurries, remaining cold through the day with afternoon highs in the mid 30s. Another wave of low pressure aloft will slide in from the northwest and light snow will become steady Thursday evening and overnight before tapering off to flurries Friday morning. Snowfall accumulations of up to 1-2 inches are possible, with amounts of more than an inch more likely for areas east of HWY 63. Temperatures will remain below freezing Thursday evening through Friday morning. Travelers should use caution and watch for slick areas on roads.
