2/18: Scattered Showers Monday

A cold front will move through by the late afternoon bringing light rain and colder air to Mid-Missouri. Light showers will develop around noon and move out of the region by the late afternoon with a few isolated t-storms possible for areas east of HWY 63. Rainfall amounts will be light with up to a tenth of an inch near HWY 65 to a quarter of an inch east of HWY 63. Southerly winds of 20-25 mph will shift to the northwest in the afternoon as colder, drier air moves in, dropping temperatures from the mid 50s at noon to 40 by 7 p.m. and into the 20s overnight.
