Weekend Wreck Kills One

A Columbia man has died after the car he was driving crashed Saturday night on U.S. 63 northbound, near Turkey Creek and Route H.Troopers said Sunday, the crash happened at 6:35 p.m. when Anthony Peccoux, 32, drove off the right side of the road and hit a concrete culvert.Peccoux was pronounced dead at University Hospital after the crash. Missouri State Highway Patrol said he was wearing his seatbelt.
