Two Severe Structure Fires

Fire crews in Randolph County cleared the scenes of two fires Sunday night. Hotspots were still flaring up around 9:30 p.m. at a double structure fire in the 1800 block of County Road 1460 in Cairo.Crews at the scene said a machine shed and adjoining building were fully involved when they got to the scene just before 2:30 p.m. It took firefighters three hours to get the blaze under control. As of Sunday night, two firefighters are recovering at a hospital, one from inhaling toxic chemical, the other from heat exhaustion.Investigators believe it was an electrical fire.Fire crews also responded to that fire while still on the scene of one in Thomas Hill. As of 9:30 p.m. Sunday night crews were also just leaving the scene of a house fire on Highway F.Dispatchers told ABC 17 News the fire broke out just after noon and is a total loss but luckily no one was injured.
