Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers arrested two people in Jefferson City on Sunday for drug charges.A trooper pulled over Clayton Schaben, 21, of Jefferson City and Katelin Borden, 22, of Gainesville, Fla., on Sunday near West Stadium Boulevard and Hyde Park Road.After smelling marijuana coming from the car, authorities searched the vehicle and found half a pound of marijuana. Law enforcement then searched Schaben’s home and found another 15 pounds of marijuana, distribution materials and over $50,000 in cash.Schaben and Borden were arrested on charges of felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. They are being held in the Cole County jail.
