Three Arrested for Stealing Car

Three people were arrested Sunday in Jefferson City for driving a stolen car.Officers stopped the Oldsmobile in the 500 block of West McCarty around 11:50 p.m. Sunday. Police later found the vehicle was stolen near Springfield.The driver is 32-year-old Shawn Moore from Jefferson City. Two people were inside, Macie Jenkins, 19, and Brantley Carroll, 21, of Camdenton.All three were accused of tampering with a motor vehicle. Moore also had a revoked license and Carroll was wanted on forgery charges and violating parole for a burglary case.All three suspects are in the Cole County jail pending charges.
