Student Charged in Sex Crime
Officers arrested a student at Linn State Technical College for having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl.21-year-old Tyler James Deyoung was arrested in his college dorm. Osage County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant on campus.According to Chief Deputy Rob Relford, authorities seized a laptop computer and a cell phone. He says those showed Deyong had made contact with, then engaged in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old.Deyoung is facing charges of second-degree statutory rape and second-degree statutory sodomy. He is in the Osage County jail on $25,000 bond.
