If you want excitement on a Friday Night, than you should have been over at Hickman Alumni Stadium. Where once again the Kewpies took care of business against the Rock Bridge Bruins, in dramatic fashion.It wasn’t until the fourth quarter did any team put some points in the board. The Bruins struck first, when Logan Twehouse tossed up a jump ball to his favorite target all season, WR Alex O’dofile. With 52 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Hickman QB Mason Murry scrammbled for his team with the clock winding down, vying for enough time for Reodrick Beasley to be wide open in the center of the endzone.In overtime, Hickman’s Sam Smith hit a 23 yard field goal to make the score 10-7. On Rock Bridge’s last chance, Twehouse was picked off by Beasley to end the game.Hickman will take on Francis Howell Nov. 9th at 7 PM. Francis Howell shut out Jeff City 7-0.
