Robbery Suspect Arrested

Columbia police say a suspect wanted in connection with a series of robberies turned himself into authorities Wednesday.Police say Jeremy Burnett, 18, turned himself in for the robbery at the Midwest Petroleum Phillips 66 on South Providence Road on September 28th. During the interview with officers, Burnett admitted to being involved in the robberies of Passions Adult Entertainment Store on September 21st and Petro Mart Convenience Store on September 3rd.Burnett has been charged for the robbery at Phillips 66. More charges are expected in the other robberies.
