Raid Finds 10 Pounds of Pot

Maries County Sheriff’s Deputies seized more than 20 marijuana plants and large prepackages bags of marijuana weighing more than 10 lbs. while serving a search warrant Saturday morning. Two people have been arrested and charged for possession of a controlled substance with an intent to distribute. Stanley Sinker, 58, and Catherine Hay, 53, both of Dixon, were both arrested at 17020 Highway 133 near Dixon. Both suspects remain in Maries County Jail on a $50,000 bond Saturday.If convicted, both face up to 15 years in prison.
