Nigh 70

The longest regular season win streak in mid-Missouri high school football is over. The Clark County Indians defeated the Centralia Panthers (6-1) Friday night 20-15 snapping a 70-game regular season win streak put by Erle Bennett’s program. Trailing in the third quarter, the Panthers scored two touchdowns to grab a momentary 15-12 lead, but the undefeated Indians (now 7-0) rallied to score a touchdown and a two point conversion in the fourth quarter that turned out to be the difference in the ball game. Turnovers were the biggest problem for the Panthers. Clark County picked off three Centralia passes Friday night.
