MUs Opener Changes Tip Off Time

Columbia, Mo. The game time for Missouri Basketball’s 2012-13 season opener against Southern Illinois Edwardsville on Nov. 10 has been moved back to 4 p.m.The time adjustment allows Tiger fans to watch Mizzou Football’s 11:21 a.m. contest at Tennessee and then attend the college basketball season opener later that afternoon at Mizzou Arena.”We appreciate our television partners and the coaching staff at Southern Illinois Edwardsville to be so accommodating with this time change,” Head Coach Frank Haith said. “Mizzou Arena is the toughest home court in America because of our students and fans and this move gives everyone a little extra time to get to Mizzou Arena after watching the football game that morning.”
