The Saint Louis Post Dispatch has reported that MU police investigated an alleged assault case against the senior nearly three years ago. Post Dispatch Reporter Vahe Gregorian broke the news that MU police investigated this incident in January 2010. The paper obtained a report documenting the allegations. That report indicates a nurse, who examined the alleged victim, said she appeared to be the victim of a forced sexual act. The Post Dispatch also says that after initially taking the report to police, the woman said she did not want to pursue charges in the case. Today’s information comes less than 48 hours after news broke that Columbia police had recently wrapped up an investigation against Dixon for an alleged rape in August of this year. Boone County’s prosecutor declined to file charges in that case. Dixon’s future status with the team remains unclear Thursday night, and his indefinite suspension continues.
