Man in Court for Baby’s Death

A man charged with endangering the welfare of a child will head to court next Monday.23-year-old Bryan Sartor and his girlfriend, Megan Ayers, are charged with endangering the welfare of a child and drug possession, stemming from a June 2012 incident. Emergency crews had responded to their Holts Summit home and found 9-month-old Kyson Anthony Wayne Weathers dead.Police said they also found evidence of meth abuse inside. Investigators said the couple admitted to using meth the same week the child died.The prosecutor in the case says murder charges have not been filed yet because the prosecution is awaiting autopsy results. Sartor was bound over to Circuit Court, after a judge found enough evidence to continue the trial. The trial will begin on Monday, October 22nd.He is facing the two felony charges and if convicted, he could face up to 14 years in prison.
