Man Dies in Pettis County Crash

A Pettis County man is dead after an early Saturday morning car crash.Missouri State Highway Patrol says Curtis Harper, 55, of La Monte failed to negotiate a curve on MO Highway 127 near Easter Road around 12:30 a.m. Troopers say the car went off the left side of the road and overturned, partially ejecting Harper.Harper was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
