Man Charged for Child Sex Crime

A Jefferson City man bonded out of jail Friday night after being charged for trying to solicit sex with an underage boy over the Internet. Nicholas Bax, 34, is charged with three felonies after an undercover sting. The Cyber Crimes Unit have been tracking Bax since September and monitoring his online activities. Deputies say Bax thought he was emailing a 14-year-old boy but instead, it turned out to be an undercover officer.
