Gunshots Fired in Columbia

Columbia Police are on the scene of another reported shooting. Dispatchers called cops to the area of Sylvan Lane and Whitegate Drive on the city’s northeast side just after 6 p.m. and officers on the scene have confirmed that five to eight shots were fired. Authorities say they do not yet know if anyone was injured in the shooting.
