Forum Theaters Burglarized

Columbia police are investigating a burglary at Forum 8 Theaters early Wednesday morning.According to detectives, the suspects disabled phone lines for the area by cutting cables in a nearby utility box. The suspects then forced their way into the theaters by prying a door open around 2 a.m.Police say the suspects then used a power tool to cut a hole into the side of the safe and stole an undisclosed amount of money.Cops say the suspects are two white males who were wearing masks, dark clothing, camouflage backpacks and latex gloves.The investigation is ongoing.
