Dixon Suspended

Missouri men’s head basketball coach Frank Haith announced Friday that he was suspending senior Mike Dixon and freshman Dominique Bull indefinitely. Haith said the suspensions were not related to anything legally or any violations of NCAA rule, but because of violation of team policy. Neither player will play in Monday’s exhibition opener against Northwest Missouri State. Last season, Dixon was third on the Tigers in scoring averaging 13.5 points per game, and this season was slated to start for the first time in his career. Last year he was so good off the bench, Dixon was named the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year. Earlier this month, the SEC Media picked Dixon as a member of the All-SEC second team.
