CPD Investigates Armed Burglary

***UPDATE: 9:27 A.M.***Police say the suspects hit a 27-year-old man and 35-year-old woman in the head with the guns. The suspects demanded money from the victims.The suspects fled the scene heading south on foot. The victims were not injured.The first suspect was described as a black male, light complexion, between 19 to 23 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160-180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black mask and jeans.The second suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, mid 20’s, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 180 to 220 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black mask and jeans.***ORIGINAL STORY***Columbia police are looking for two suspects involved in an overnight break-in.It happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Madison Street.Police say two people were home at the time. The suspects forced their way in with guns and took off with property.The only description police are releasing is that they are looking for two black males.
