Columbia Gas Station Robbed

***UPDATE FRIDAY 6:00 P.M.***Police officers arrested two men for robbing the Midwest Petroleum on South Providence Road Friday morning.Investigators say they recognized Albert Butler and Travis Butler from surveillance video. Police say both men admitted to their involvement with the robbery. Police say they also recognized a third suspect, Jeremy Burnett.All three men could face robbery in the second degree.Police ask if anyone has information about Jeremy Burnett’s whereabouts, to contact the Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 875-TIPS.***ORIGINAL STORY***Right now Columbia police are looking for the man who robbed the Midwest Petroleum at Providence Road and Locust Street. It happened Friday morning at around 4 a.m.Officers say the suspect demanded money and implied he had a weapon, though no weapon was ever shown. After leaving the gas station the suspect reportedly ran northbound along Providence.Police say the suspect is a mixed-race male, 5’1″ and 140 lbs., who was wearing khaki pants, a green rain jacket and green hat with a sticker on the bill.Watch ABC 17 News This Morning for the latest on this story.
