Arrests Made for Drugs, Burglary

Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men on separate charges of drugs and burglary.Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, deputies pulled over 22-year-old Robert Vaught on County Road 4012. Vaught had a Callaway County warrant for failure to appear and deputies arrested him for the warrant. Deputies also allegedly found methamphetamine, scales and drug paraphernalia in the car. Vaught was then arrested for possession with intent to distribute.Vaught was taken to the Callaway County Jail on a $5,000 cash only bond and $25,000 surety bond.Just a few hours later, deputies performed a traffic stop on the same road. A passenger in the car gave deputies a false name, but one of the deputies recognized the individual as 26-year-old Paul McKibben. He currently has a no bond Cole County warrant for burglary. He is currently being held in the Callaway County Jail.
